ComAct – standing for ‘Community tailored actions for energy poverty mitigation – aimed to make impactful energy-efficient improvements in multi-family apartment buildings in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region and in the former Soviet Union republics (CIS region) affordable and manageable for energy-poor communities as well as to create the necessary assistance conditions for lifting them out of energy poverty. Intervening in 3 dimensions, stakeholders and communities, financial, technical, ComAct partners tested the approach in 5 pilot countries: Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Republic of North Macedonia and Ukraine.
Conference and events, at national, EU and international level, are extremely useful to disseminate the project’s results to the right audiences, to make good use of the communication material developed and to create connections both at technical and at dissemination level with other projects, organisations, policy makers and municipal representatives.
ComAct organised a series of events that aimed to communicate its results, get feedback from experts and reinforce the engagement of stakeholders. Events included trainings, knowledge exchange workshops, knowledge transfer webinars, EU roundtable. The project closed with a successful final event, with different representatives from the target sectors and more than 170 people registered.
